"Harold." 1976 Late Bay VW Wedding Car
We love VW Camper vans and we also love Weimaraner's. Both our wedding cars are named after family dogs who are sadly no longer with us. This is Harold, our Late Bay VW Riviera wedding car completely renovated and rebuilt between 2012 and 2015 to our own luxury specification and still maintained to the same high standards.
Harold can accommodate five passengers in addition to your uniformed chauffeur all with a combination of either inertia shoulder seat belts or lap seat belts.
Harold is two tone white and beige in colour with beige seating and oak cabinets. The carpets are golden sisal.
Our up to two hour chauffeur service from the point of first collection costs £395 with additional hours charged at £55 a hour, allowing for multiple trips and time for wedding photography.
Our service includes 100 miles from and to our base in Snape, near Aldeburgh. In addition, we always arrive in the area of first collection one hour in advance for final preparations and to ensure our service runs smoothly. This hour is free for our clients.
"Harry." 1970 Early Bay VW Wedding Car
This is Harry. Our rare Early Bay Volkswagen Westfalia Riviera wedding car, completely renovated and rebuilt between 2018 and 2024 to the highest almost concours standard, were it not for the addition of our own luxury specification.
Often described as "the pretty one," this Early VW Bay campervan can also accommodate five passengers in addition to the chauffeur, again with a combination of inertia shoulder seat belts or lap seat belts. This includes our removable buddy seat next to the sliding doorway.
Designed for weddings in mind, Harry is two-tone cream and white, with rich, brown coloured seating, as found in the world's most luxurious cars. He is fitted with our VanWurks oak interior cabinets, plus a removable table and leather-faced Newton Commercial Captains chairs. The carpets are matching sisal. Harry spent the 2025 season being road tested and has proved very reliable. An absolute requirement for our wedding car hire service.
Due to his highest of renovation standards, our up to two hour chauffeur service for Harry commands a higher price at £495, with additional hours charged at the same additional £55 hourly rate as Harold.
